2-1 Can I inquire about my own JCIC Credit Score?
Yes. In accordance with the "Personal Data Protection Act", a data subject has the right to inquire about and review their own credit score. You can check your own JCIC Credit Score by applying for your Comprehensive Credit Report with additional information on your credit score.
2-2 How to acquire your own JCIC Credit Score?
The JCIC Credit Score will be shown in your Comprehensive Credit Report if you apply for it. Ways to apply for a Comprehensive Credit Report including a credit score:
- Online: Individuals can apply for an online credit report via citizen digital certificate issued by MOICA.
- Via Savings & Remittances Windows of post offices
*Note that the Savings & Remittances Windows of post offices can only accept credit report applications from applicants with valid ROC ID.
- By mail: Fill out an appropriate application form and send it with required documents to 16F, No.2, Sec.1, Chong Ching South Road, Taipei, Taiwan 100502. Application forms and procedures for applying, along with exceptional cases such as foreign nationals, the deceased, those under guardianship, minors and corporations, can be downloaded via the JCIC website or dial service hotline (02)2316-3232.
*Note that credit reports are only mailed to addresses in Taiwan, Penghu, Kingmen and Matsu.

2-3 How often is the JCIC Credit Score updated?
The JCIC Credit Score reflects the latest information in the JCIC database, and therefore will change with time accordingly.
2-4 Can I inquire about my own JCIC Credit Score of a specific time in the past?
Since credit information is always changing with time, the JCIC Credit Score may be different accordingly. Therefore, it is not possible to provide the JCIC Credit Score of a specific time in the past.
